DJ Raj orchestrated the event lighting and music for four events at the Ritz Carlton, New York City: the sangeet (karaoke) party, Baraat, the Hindu ceremony and the reception. He got our guests enthused about the karaoke, and for the last songs of the night even the “uncles” were insisting on taking a turn. Four hours later, he was back up at the hotel setting up beautiful up lighting to complement the mandap and preparing the music for the baraat and ceremony. We had a whirlwind wedding day and by the evening reception both we and our guests were a little tired, having been partying the night before and then up for over 12 hours that day. Fortunately, DJ Raj knows how to make people feel re-energized, with a great mix of Bollywood and Western hits — the dance floor was fully packed. Between the music and intelligent lighting, everyone was saying that they felt like they were at an upscale club!
